I got introduced to the owner of this fly shop in downtown by a new new friend, brother on another earth. I could wear and want to own every article of clothing in this shop. I’ve been picking up a few things here and there, whilst doing so, speaking with the owner, delightfully longer upon delight experience every time. He is a pure people, I really appreciate & love. The shop was getting a rearranging and I said I’d love to make some pieces that fit the new renaming i.e. Guevel. Long story short - here are two 48x48 pieces - “nude sand : circa 2020” and “not water : circa 2020”. Thank you for believing in my art. Love you sir.

I have a friend, bunny, she ran an event space and said she loved my art. I said I’d love to fill it up - here are a couple of the installation photos. Circa 2020

This is a commission I did for a friend of my mamas. She saw my art at my mamas salon. My mamas salon has ~30-40 pieces on display or in an office.

These are my first two paintings sold from the first art show I’d ever been a part of. I installed them in a home on top of a hill on a lake - spectacular home, delightful dogs even though I got bit and better people! I found the large piece of glass at a habitat for humanity reStore for $3. It was an old used shower door in fine shape. After cleaning, this piece of glass was painted and razorblade cleared 3 or 4 times and was painted over a year with 100’s of layers on it. The spot above the fire place it is displayed has sun hitting it at different angles through the day - skylights make this piece look different throughout the day. Love these people for believing in my art.

One of my favorite pieces I’ve made and have been asked to paint this painting 10+ times. This is the 2nd version of this painting titled, “yink”. It is at its home in, the flyest new modern home south of i435. At my 2nd art show I had the first version off the wall and I was flipping it on its side to show the piece could be hung with the top being whatever the person chose. However, whilst flipping it, I lost it for a second, a corner touched a wall at a 1 in a billion spot and completely shattered the piece in front of the entire art show. I picked it up, had another painting of the same size I replaced said broken one with and still think about those 3 seconds to this day. With that being said, Erika had seen a pink and yellow piece of mine, Twas the one I broke, thus, I created a new one for her and her family - the second version is better than the first too! Thank you Erika!

It all begins with an idea. My ideas for selling my art are etc. etc. One realization was that my art would look excellent in million dollar homes. To get said art in these homes, I drove around kc identifying homes that; had a delightful aesthetic, was style unlike “norm”, + made me feel and also could see myself living in. So I put together a post card and hand wrote cursive notes to my top 23 favorite homes in kc. ‘Twas a simple note; “I think my art would look fly in your home, please come by my showing at wheat and waves.” Of the 23 homes I wrote notes to , the first people to come see my art happened to be some of the best humans I have ever met. They came into see my art at 🌾&🌊 didn’t see what they visualized for their home, so I went to their spot. We brainstormed and ended up making a black and also a diamond dusted white 48x48 piece + a 8’ tall custom glass door. Thank you to these people - love you Thompson’s!

This is the first large piece of glass I started painting on. Found it at habitat for humanity with one other large piece that broke.. I painted this piece, probably, more times than any other painting. It was on display at my first art show and was liked by many collectors, however, I did not sell it. At my second show I connected with a super impressive individual, fast forward ~6 months he has this and one other piece in a delightfully fantastic flat in the west bottoms. I’ll be in contact with this cat forever. Love you sir. Thank you.
